Project Overview
Modernize and expand a cutting-edge hospital. Twenty years after the previous major renovation, the hospital (formerly MeritCare) looked to accommodate a growing influx of patients and the latest, cutting-edge technologies with a new 6,000 square-foot remodel and 150,000 square-foot addition. In addition to addressing code requirements and best practices for modern medical care delivery, the project design also fosters a healing environment for patients and their families.
Focus on safety. Our expertise in infection control and disruption avoidance meant that the hospital could continue its mission during three years of construction. The key? Effective communication through daily inspections, weekly safety reviews, monthly site inspections from the company Safety Officer and contractor training.
