North Freeze Dry
Project Overview
This new structure for North Freeze Dry was a Nucor building that totaled 87,900 square feet of manufacturing space. There was the main building at 82,000 square feet with an additional 5,900 square feet ammonia building attached with expansion joint detail. We also added structural support throughout the building and built the roof especially for the ammonia system that was coordinated during design. The roofing was a TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) roof to achieve a high energy efficiency while being affordable and long-lasting.
