Foss Swim School Fargo
Project Overview
Nor-Son Construction renovated 10,000 square feet (about a third) of a former Best Buy for the first North Dakota location of Foss Swim School. We worked with Paul Meyer Architects to ensure we delivered the most efficient and specifically-suited building for Foss. The renovation included excavating for a shotcrete walled pool and a landed lap pool. We installed an intricate tile drain, floor and wall tile waterproofing and pool dehumidification systems. Epoxy floor coating surrounds the pool with viewing areas for parents and guests. The swim school contains a retail store, individual changing rooms, showers, hair and suit dryers, and family restrooms. Working under a tight time frame to get the building complete for a grand opening, the Nor-Son team completed the project on time and within budget.
