Project Overview
Nor-Son Construction completed a 12,500 square foot gymnasium and classroom addition for the Eastern Twin Cities Islamic Center (ETCIC) in Afton, Minnesota. Working alongside TWP Architects, Nor-Son delivered a thoughtfully constructed expansion designed to support the center’s growing educational, recreational, and community programming needs. The addition provides flexible spaces for learning, gathering, and physical activity, helping ETCIC better serve families and individuals throughout the East Metro and Twin Cities region.
The new facility enhances ETCIC’s mission of engaging, educating, and strengthening the local community through expanded classrooms and a modern gymnasium. The addition supports a wide range of programs, including youth and adult education, math tutoring, religious studies, sports, community outreach initiatives, and interfaith events. Through quality construction and collaborative project delivery, Nor-Son helped create a welcoming environment that will serve the community for generations to come.
