Coal Country Inn

Project Overview

Intended for North Dakota energy plant workers, Nor-Son designed and renovated this 1950s-era school building into a 91-room, 160-bed hotel. The first phase goal of completing 100 beds for guest occupancy in just five months required design and construction creativity, collaboration, and constant communication. The team met and exceeded the goal by also completing much of Phase II, for a total of 136 beds, new gathering space, and dining area in time for the first Coal Country Inn guests to enjoy.
