Ada-Borup School Remodel/Addition
Project Overview
The Ada-Borup Gymnasium Addition & Remodel project was the third project Nor-Son Construction has completed for the district. After a bathroom renovation and classroom addition, the school purchased construction services by accessing ezIQC from Gordian through their local cooperative purchasing network, Sourcewell. Nor-Son was awarded the contract based on their prior successful performance for the school and their knowledge of the ezIQC delivery.
The project consisted of a new pre-cast gymnasium and renovation to classrooms, administration office and common areas. Nor-Son completed the remodeling portions during summer break to avoid disrupting the students and staff. The pre-cast walls for the gymnasium construction occurred during the school year so safety and disruption avoidance were top priorities. The crew successfully completed the project in time for the 2021/2022 school year open house.
